I am a senior economist at The World Bank Environment Department working at the intersection of research and policy in environment, climate, and agriculture.

I work with governments across Latin America to design, finance, and implement policies on forest conservation and restoration, sustainable agriculture, and climate and nature finance — and produce technical work, from policy reports to academic papers, that informs these efforts.

My research focuses on the economics of land use, deforestation, and agricultural development, and has been published in journals such as the Journal of Development Economics, Journal of Public Economics, and PNAS.
